Hey friend,

Incarceration Sucks! Your Return Home doesn’t have to.

Finding the right resources to navigate mental, emotional, and spiritual stress after incarceration can be intimidating.

Post-Incarceration Challenges

We empower fellow justice involved folks through spiritual mental health education and practice, ensuring no one is left out of experiencing God’s wholeness, inspiration, and peace.

Fighting to Survive

Behind bars, we did whatever was necessary to survive. Letting go of the fight can provide a space us to receive guidance through any obstacle course.

Shattered Trust

Maybe we lost trust in ourselves and others while we were locked up. There’s a way to wholeness here, beginning with looking at the pain through the perspective of unconditional love.

Discrimination

What happened before incarceration feels like lifetimes ago, yet it follows us around. We may be relying on our own mind, trying to “solve” another person’s perspective.

Relationship Difficulties

Learning how to be appropriately vulnerable is a skill. Orienting to our thoughts, emotions, and inner sensations can assist in off-boarding relationship stress, transcending the mental gymnastics we’re used to.

Housing and employment are the main focal points upon release, yet they often feel impossible. Finding balance between “negative” thoughts & emotions, and trusting a process that inevitably leads to success can relieve tension like a balloon slowly deflating.

Hustle vs Rest

Release feels like freedom, and hustling to become successful might feel correct. Seeing relaxation as an opportunity for balance provides the process of God necessary space to allow hustle to become a creative expression.

The challenges feel insurmountable, especially because:

Thoughts and emotions are really uncomfortable.

It’s easy to get caught up in all the stories we tell ourselves about the obstacles. These thoughts & emotions are stuck on an endless loop. Is it possible to experience something different?

Solving Problems isn’t Working!

Trying to find success post-incarceration is like scaling brick walls. When we don’t make it to the top we often discover frustration, overwhelm, and a desire to give up. These experiences are not the end of the road, especially when we begin to work with God as a process.

The Inner World – A Real Solution

Our inner world of thoughts and emotions are so chaotic from the challenges of incarceration and ReEntry. Through cultivating a practice of witnessing these sensations and feelings, we naturally begin to settle, like a snow globe being set on a table after lots of agitation!

God as a Process

The mind cannot figure out the mind.

That’s where God comes in! As we discover in the Foundations Course, the process of God is here to provide personal revelation surrounding why our thoughts and emotions stay in the same annoying ruts.

Shift your Perspective – Change your Life

Discover what it’s like to reclaim your power through a personal relationship with God as a process.

Online Course

Our Foundations course is the primary tool for navigating the inner landscape of thoughts and emotions. We orient to how God desires to contact every part of our life through an inward focus rather than stressful external circumstances.

Q&A – Community Support

Compiled Video Responses

As you’re moving through the Foundations course, you can submit questions related to what you’re internally navigating, and we will respond with a video of compiled answers for the whole community.

This is also how we know what type of course content needs to be created. Thank you for contributing to our ongoing work!

Retreats

Community Intensives

Integrating the course material in a retreat setting can enhance the way you navigate the world. These will be offered both virtually and in-person.

If you live in a justice-involved transitional home, we’d love to chat with your program director about in-home retreat options!
