If everything is a tool to utilize towards better understanding our reality, Human Design can be one of those deep-dive features, allowing us to become aware of how we function energetically with others in our environment.
Within Human Design, some of us have a profile with a 6 line. This line is called the Role Model, and is a progressive development starting with martyrdom, working thru healing, and eventually embodying the wisdom of an individual recognized as a role model.
Until Return Home has an online course devoted to Human Design, we encourage you to check out Human Design 101 with Christie Inge for introductory information. You can also grab your chart here if you know your birth time and birth location. And this is especially useful if you want to find out your profile includes a 6 line.

Stages of Life as a 6-Line
Finding out that not everyone navigates life the way we do can be challenging to wrap our minds around. We get to acknowledge the different steps for what they are, and see how we grow from what we've been through. This process can be challenging to understand, but that's one thing we are here to assist with. Read More
Your Path to Being a Role Model
We want to ensure the Spiritual Mental Health Education you receive is tailored to how you navigate life as a 6-line! Being you fully can require patience and dedication, and we want to make sure you’re well equipped with the materials you need to feel self-empowered. Our goal is for your internal sense of purpose to grow from the seeds you’ve consciously and unconsciously planted on your way to where you are now.
Lessons Learned, Here to Share
- Navigating Guilt/Shame/Blame around Martyr Stories – Finding a path through incarceration, mental illness, adoption, negative life choices and working thru the guilt/shame/blame holding me back from stepping into the role model. <style=”list-style-type: disc;”>
- Embracing Listening – Noticing that I can learn a lot more through listening rather than talking. Learning to ask questions in a way where I receive valuable information related to others’ experiences. This process provides fertile soil for knowing how to better position myself and present what/how I want to be perceived in the future.
- The Martyr period (first 30 years) was us being forced into everyone perceiving us in a certain way.
- The second phase is us discovering how we would like to be perceived
- And when we are ready (officially recognized around 50) we get to choose how we are perceived by others
- Business Structure – As a 6 line, we are here to help impact others through how we were a Martyr, or how we struggled through life during the first 30 years of life. Because of my desire to help from personal experience, I decided to NOT become a counselor, therapist, or coach. I have also become committed to sharing from my experience by introducing two sections, “Lessons Learned, Here to Share” and “Currently Working On”.
Current Growth Areas
Larger Perceptions of Business/Self Identity – How do I want to put myself out into the world other than just the website, course, and podcast? Are writing a book, being on TV, and putting myself in front of large audiences of people in my future? How do I want people to experience me in these settings?
Healing other Areas of Life – Everything under each “How We Help – Currently Working On” section, as well as… Working with religious trauma! Even though I’m deeply devoted to Spiritual Health, I notice my continuing opposition to working with a Christian framework. I’m also curious, as each time I’m introduced to density/contrast in my life, healing and coming out the other side always produces an educational opportunity (hello Return Home!).
