What does Spiritual Mental Health look like within a church? Our desire is to facilitate the deepening of all congregant’s personal relationship with God. Learning how to navigate the following has helped many in building the “spiritual muscles” necessary to hear and follow God’s plan.
Building "Spiritual Muscles"
Cultivating a personal relationship with God takes practice! We provide the groundwork necessary to develop a continually unfolding practice of:
- Understanding how “control” is the opposite of God’s divine will, and practicing surrender as a method of alignment.
- Participating with thoughts and emotions to understand the balance between our mind and God’s voice.
- Fostering a growth-mindset for faith to provide God as much space as He needs
- Nurturing interpersonal relationships through equanimity to allow the Holy Spirit’s growth in everyone’s life.
- Encouraging God’s voice through stillness and silence.
- Utilizing prayer as a tool to invoke God’s subtle communication.
- Training the muscle of discernment through internal practice – Asking questions and finding space for guidance.
Embracing Spiritual Gifts
It’s not uncommon for spiritual gifts to be present but underutilized. We provide the non-judgemental scaffolding to allow for embracing these gifts through encouraging this personal communication with God.
Spiritual Gifts include feeling into our God-given internal senses, potentially turning into “visions”, including seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, touching, and knowing.

God's Will - Surrendering Thoughts & Emotions
Finding space for God's voice to be heard requires understanding our inherent inner process of thinking with the mind, feeling through emotions, and surrendering to God's way.
